Performer RPM Vortec Marine Intake Manifold Small-Block Chevy

The Edelbrock Performer RPM Vortec #2516 marine intake manifold is based on the powerful Edelbrock #7101. This single four-barrel intake is designed for, marine engines utilizing 262-400 c.i.d. Chevy V8's with 1996 and later Vortec (L31) cast iron or Edelbrock E-Tec aluminum heads. The Performer RPM Vortec #2516 is a dual-plane, high-rise intakes with a 180-degree firing order to produce incredible top-end horsepower while retaining good throttle response. The Edelbrock Performer RPM #2516 marine intake manifold features brass lined front water crossover and brass flange inserts to cover the rear water openings. An external water bypass boss is machined into the front of the water crossover for use on 1996 and later Vortec production engines. The Edelbrock Performer RPM Vortec #2516 also features a natural aluminum finish for a classic look. For the ultimate "Made in USA" quality, every Edelbrock intake manifold is cast and machined in the USA.

Installation Notes:
• Recommended intake gasket: Edelbrock #7235 or GM #89017465
• Manifold ht: A-4.20", B-5.25" (.70" taller than #2101)
• Carb pad height: 4.27"
• Port exit dimensions: 2.05" tall with slanted side walls
• The carb pad accepts either Q-jet or square bore carburetors such as our PN 1409 or 1410.
• Use RTV sealant to properly seal end seals, such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone sealant #1076, DO NOT USE END SEALS GASKETS.
• Sealant must be used on intake bolt threads if the threads extend into lifter valley or coolant passage.
• Hardened washers Must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum.
• Match with an Edelbrock Marine carburetor
