Performer EPS Small Block Chevy Vortec Intake Manifold

The Edelbrock Small Block Chevy Vortec Performer EPS #27163 intake manifold is an all-new design optimized for square bore carburetors. The #27163 fits all S.B. Chevy engines equipped with the 1996-99 L31 production truck or our E-Tec cylinder heads. The Performer EPS dualplane manifold is optimized to deliver superior performance with Edelbrock square-bore Performer Series or Thunder Series AVS carburetors. The runner design is "tuned" for peak torque around 3500 rpm on a 350-inch engine and it's ideal for power from off-idle to 5500 rpm. Dyno tests showed gains averaging 5+ ft-lbs. of torque from 3000 to 4500 rpm for more performance where you need it most. Match with a dependable Edelbrock square-bore carburetor for maximum performance gains. Will not fit under stock Corvette hood. Installation Notes:
• Recommended intake gasket: Edelbrock #7235
• Manifold ht: A-3.87", B-5.28
• Carb pad height: 4.57"
• Port exit dimensions: 2.05" tall with slanted side walls.
• Use RTV sealant to properly seal end seals, such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone sealant #1076, DO NOT USE END SEALS GASKETS.
• Sealant must be used on intake bolt threads if the threads extend into lifter valley or coolant passage.
• Hardened washers Must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum.
• Will not fit under stock Corvette hood.
