If your sanctioning body requires a flat tappet valve train and your engine combination can accept high rocker ratios, these cams are the best choice for most open wheel modified applications. Utilizing current NASCAR, high rocker ratio technology, these camshafts require premium-quality valve springs, such as the Race Series #26094, titanium retainers, race-quality lifters #800-16, ideally with EDM cam face oiling provisions, heavy-duty rockers and 3/8? or larger diameter pushrods. As part of a well designed engine package, these cams will outperform all others by delivering more consistent lap times and great durability.
