Sledgehammer rotating assemblies can be installed right out of the box. The Sledgehammer crankshafts are Nitride heat treated, sonic cleaned and forged from 4340 non-twist steel. This non-twist design produces a crankshaft with higher tensile strength which increases fatigue life. They include Lunati H-beam connecting rods, Wiseco® Pro-Tru® pistons (pins and rings included) and King Allecular® bearings. Assemblies have been put together for most popular combinations.
