Lunati's new line of Modular crankshafts are forged and finished machined in the USA from certified C38 Modified Micro Alloy, which yields an extra rigid microstructure that can withstand high rpm and big boost. Oiling is improved over the factory design by positioning the oil holes to intersect shallow oil pockets in the main bearings, maximizing bearing surface lubrication on the mains and supplying more oil to the connecting rods. Lightning holes have also been machined in all four rod arms to reduce rotational mass. Additional features such as a special induction hardening process and two step polishing make this line of crankshafts the perfect foundation for your performance Modular engine build.
