Lunati Sledgehammer® rotating assemblies are designed for street/strip applications, where quality counts. Best of all, Sledgehammer rotating assemblies are affordable. Sledgehammer rotating assemblies can be installed right out of the box. The Sledgehammer crankshafts are Nitride heat treated, sonic cleaned and forged from 4340 non-twist steel. This non-twist design produces a crankshaft with higher tensile strength which increases fatigue life. They include Lunati H-beam connecting rods, Wiseco® Pro-Tru® pistons (pins and rings included) and King Allecular® bearings. Assemblies have been put together for most popular combinations.Solid, fair Idle. Excellent cam for high performance street applications with good mid range torque and horsepower. Needs 2500 RPM stall converter, headers, 9:1 compresion ratio or better and 3.73 gearing or better.
