Sledgehammer rotating assemblies can be installed right out of the box. The Sledgehammer crankshafts are Nitride heat treated, sonic cleaned and forged from 4340 non-twist steel. This non-twist design produces a crankshaft with higher tensile strength which increases fatigue life. They include Lunati H-beam connecting rods, Wiseco® Pro-Tru® pistons (pins and rings included) and King Allecular® bearings. Assemblies have been put together for most popular combinations.Hydraulic. Torque Monster for 400-455 c.i. daily driven street performance vehicle. Excellent torque and horsepower production with heavier emphasis on the low to mid range. Will work in ski boat applications with larger 455 c.i. engines. Choppy idle!
