ARP® 2000 Rod Bolts

Constructed of a premium grade alloy designated ARP2000, the ARP® 2000 connecting rod bolts feature a fatigue life of approximately 200 percent of 8740 chrome moly steel and a tensile strength in the 220,000 psi range.

ARP® 8740 Rod Bolts

Constructed of a premium grade heat-treated 8740 alloy chrome moly steel, the ARP® High Performance connecting rod bolts feature a tensile strength in the 200,000 psi range. This makes the rod bolts significantly stronger and more reliable than stock bolts.

H-Beam Rods

Ultimate strength and affordability is what the Lunati line of H-beam connecting rods are all about. Lunati rods are forged from aircraft grade 4340 alloy steel forgings...and that is just the beginning. They are then heat treated, stress relieved, shot peened and magnafluxed to ensure the highest level of durability. Each set is weight matched to +/- 1.5 grams and utilize ARP® cap hardware. Ideal for high performance street & mild race engines. Horsepower capability depends on various factors including rpm, poweradders, tuning, etc.

Replacement Rod Bolts for Lunati Rods

Lunati replacement rod bolts are rated from 180,000 psi to 220,000 psi, depending upon application. These bolts are stress relieved, and feature 12-point hex caps and rolled threads.

Rod Bearing Sets With Dowel Pin Hole

The Alecular material used in Lunati bearings allows a high degree of conformability over other race bearings, whether you are use steel or aluminum rods. Imbedability is four times greater than other bearings, plus they will not flake. The fatigue point of Alecular material is 1100 degrees fahrenheit, while babbitt overlay is only 400 degrees fahrenheit. Thickness tolerancing is held (0.0001), making Lunati bearings an excellent choice for road racing, oval track and drag racing. Lunati Alecular racing bearings are chamfered to fit Lunati crankshafts.
